Overview of LIC Exam

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts exams for various posts such as Assistant, Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO), and Apprentice Development Officer (ADO). Syllabus

Assistant & AAO Exam Syllabus

• Reasoning Ability: Number Series, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense Test, Blood Relations, Logical Reasoning, etc.
• Numerical Ability: Simplification, Average, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Simple & Compound Interest, etc.
• English Language: Reading Comprehension, Spotting Errors, Sentence Rearrangement, Cloze Test, etc.
• General Awareness: Current Affairs, Indian Economy, Banking & Finance Awareness, Indian Polity, etc.
• Computer Knowledge: Basic Computer Knowledge, MS Office, Internet, Basic Terminologies, etc.

ADO Exam Syllabus

• Reasoning Ability: Similar to the Assistant and AAO exam pattern.
• Numerical Ability: Similar to the Assistant and AAO exam pattern.
• English Language: Similar to the Assistant and AAO exam pattern.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs: Indian History, Geography, Current Affairs, Sports, Awards, etc.
• Insurance and Financial Market Awareness: Basic knowledge of insurance products, insurance sectors, LIC, Financial markets, etc.
